PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk have signed an agreement to preserve the biodiversity in Indonesia with the help of Jakarta Animal Aid Network (JAAN). This project was kicked off by providing around 2 metric tons of Alderon RS non-toxic and non-corrosive uPVC roofing for the conservation of Brahminy Kite (Hiliastur Indus) at Kotok Island, Kepulauan Seribu. The conservation area is currently hosting in total of 39 Brahminy Kites whose existence is considered endangered due to habitat loss and hunting.

As Impack has committed to Sustainability since the launch of its first 2019 Sustainability Report, biodiversity has also become one of its concerns. “This is the first agreement we made in biodiversity and we hope to have more partnership like this in the future. Helping the endangered species like Brahminy Kite also has become a reminder for us to always use our resource responsibly to build a sustainable world for our future,” stated Sugiarto Romeli, Director of Sustainability PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk.

Impack is delighted that its products have brought a new meaning and a contribution for preserving biodiversity in Indonesia and looking forward for more projects with JAAN this year.
